What's da buzz on
Shawna?
Shawna Curry always knew she wanted to be a writer. At
five years old, sitting on the front porch stoop pouring over
words, the written language was more interesting than jumping
from the "Tarzan Rope" with her posse of friends.
Stephen King's epic, apocalyptic novel The Stand
awed Shawna. " Who can read that book and not be haunted by
images of the Lincoln Tunnel?" King's cryptic psychological
masterpiece asked the question, "Can I do this?"
Published by fifteen; a teacher's piercing eye,
encouraged, "Shawna, you could be a great writer. Write what
you know, what you love." Fate was sealed.
"I want to do it all.
Books, articles, and an advice column."
College grew a talent, a collage for the mind's
template: Art's and Literature, World Religion's, Philosophy,
Music, Psychics, and a new love, Psychology, peppered its
scheme.
Shawna moved through her life changes, seeing life through
very intuitive eyes. Everything has an inner meaning, a
spiritual bent, if one just looked with a little awareness.
Harnessing the ability, she bore a career, Intuitive Advisor.
Several years and over 18,000 consultations later it became
very clear writing about her personal perceptions was the
culmination of her road traveled.
"I don't want to tell
people how to see the divine in their life, I just want to
point (with words) and help them see it for themselves. People
are starved for meaning in their life, what they don't realize
is it's all meaningful if you choose it to
be."
The future holds Shawna writing for you, the gen-X
posse, the large and small screen, as well as, the personal
accounts of her lifetime Spiritual journey with inspirational
Insights designed to help the reader create a more direct
experience and relationship with the Divine in their
life. |
